What to send a WordPress developer so the job starts on day one

A good brief is not a novel. It is a bag of facts.

• Live URL and staging URL.
• Admin login, or an invitation as Administrator on staging.
• Logo, colours, and fonts (with licenses).
• Reference sites, with notes: “header like this, product card like that.”
• Must-have plugins (payment, membership, multilingual).
• Deadline and who approves the staging site.

If you bought the gig on a marketplace, paste that same brief in the first message. I can quote faster, and you will not pay for a discovery week you did not want.
