The challenge

A news homepage must organize a large amount of information without losing visual hierarchy. The interface needs to distinguish the main article from latest news, popular content and secondary editorial sections while remaining readable across different screen sizes.

The solution

The design uses a structured editorial grid with a prominent lead article, supporting imagery, categorized news lists and ranked content modules. Large serif headlines create a newspaper-like character, while magenta rules and markers guide the reader through the page. The dark interface provides strong contrast and supports a focused reading experience.
